Help me - handy diagram

We’re selling our house and we’ve had some feedback from the estate agent about the garden being a weird shape. It is I suppose, But it has a rectangular piece at the front that’s a decent size (patio area, I’ve got some plant beds and seating) it’s then just got this extra bit that leads to the back gate.

I just want a quick, cheap fix and so I was thinking of dividing the garden where I’ve drawn the dotted line, so that people can just picture the regular garden and then they have that extra bit at the back a bit more hidden (for things like the shed, which is what we have there now) as a bonus

Any ideas how I can actually do that though?

Bingo! I've been thinking for a while that (like parking threads) garden design threads really should have diagrams.

I don't see why an L-shaped garden is a problem, but if you want to divide it, look at any of the websites or blogs that talk about 'garden rooms'. For a quick fix could you invest in some big planters with something tall in them (bamboo?), that would act as a visual break between the two areas and then take them with you when you move?

Maybe a trellis with some fast-growing climbers on it?
