I am considering a hybrid apricot/plum tree and wondering if anyone has any experience of them? I have a south facing sunny fence I could fan train it on, but it is not completely sheltered. Would this be a waste of time and money? I'm concerned about wind and frost. I'm in the SE, but I do get strong winds in the garden because I'm on the edge of a hill, and frosts do hit that part of the garden.
