Back of the garden

The person that owns the property behind my garden has chopped down the tree at the back of his garden. Whilst this is exciting because I can now plant a tree, or perhaps some shrubs there, the people in the upper flats can see into my garden. What can I plant, that is fast growing and will hopefully give me something to look at other than the flats beyond? I don't want to block out too much light, I suspect that is why the previous tree was chopped down, but I'd like something fast growing that might bring the birds back

If you can do the white solanum ( www.google.com/search?q=solanum+white&client=safari&rls=en&tbm=isch&source=iu&ictx=1&fir=YdTmJnXGOmDJVM%252CMm-SYR1BmK0k4M%252C_&vet=1&usg=AI4_-kR3o8hYcpmFKC6wg_2qq2c_8QJkXg&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwj6wbLGs6jvAhVLu3EKHULoCTUQ_h0wAHoECBAQAw&biw=1920&bih=1017#imgrc=YdTmJnXGOmDJVM You may have to put a couple of wires a bit higher than the back fence but it grows like topsy & looks pretty - possibly and interim solution

Maybe a couple of 'nearly full grown' fruit trees so they'll be tallish already. The bare root ones in the nurseries are for sale now. They'll be deciduous . Don't put a leylandii pine in because it'll be too tall too quickly!
