Am looking online with a view to ordering bedding plants and perennials- which companies are good and reliable? There seems to be a lot of choice!!

Thanks in advance

I’ve used jparkers lots but their plants are quite small and might benefit from potting on in a greenhouse, if that’s an option for you.

I’ve used Gardening Express before, great selection, reasonable prices and well packaged too.

Thank you both, have either of you tried Farmer Gracy?

I’ve tried Farmer Gracy for bulbs - they’re packaged beautifully and have all come up fine but too early to know yet if they’ll flower. I got some lovely plants from Crocus, also happy with the ones I got from YouGarden. JParkers seem to have a 28-day delay before posting so I haven’t received those yet so can’t comment on size.

Have had super quality plants from Sarah raven. Her website always seemed to be loads more expensive than other sites but either prices have gone up generally or hers are more reasonable now. Not the cheapest though. Have only ever had one disappointing plant from her - and the customer service was fantastic - they replaced it straightaway (id emailed them a pic, saying I was happy to plant it and see how it got on, but they sent me a replacement anyway)

I've had great plants from Secret Gardening Club - lots of perennials. They've all been great, but the heucheras especially have been amazing.

Ive had decent plants from Crocus, but I find them pricey.

Sarah Raven - I find that despatch is all over the place. Things arrive much later than I expect them to, and in multiple deliveries. Always use a discount code.

Farmer Gracy bulbs have been consistently fantastic, and I would buy again and again.

i tend to get bedding plants at the supermarket or similar.

For proper shrubs, both Crocus and Burncoose nurseries are good.
