Lavender tree

Hi I was wondering if anyone knew if this lavender tree was dead- I'm not sure what to do with it. It was bought last year. Thanks!

It is a bit too early in the year to tell. I would tease out some of the roots, shake of some soil and repot it in fresh compost. Then I would prune back to about three quarters of its size. Although lavender likes a dry soil, it is possible that this was a bit too dry.

How long has it looked like that? Are there any leaves at all that aren't shrivelled and brown?

Thanks for your help Florentina, I was going to try repotting it in fresh soil so will give that a go.
I've not taken much care of it over the winter so it's been like that a good few months I'd say..

Oh and it pretty much all looks like that talktothefoot. I'll take a closer inspection!
