Hi, all the leaves have fallen off the bottom and it makes me sad. Can I cut it and re root it? Thanks

It looks like a Croton. They don’t like being moved, or temperatures below about 60F, and can drop leaves in response. If you look after it, it should regrow its leaves. They like humidity, but not being left saturated in water, so give it a mist spray occasionally, and just water generously when the top layer of compost feels dry.

I would also regularly pinch out the top leaves to help growth lower down.

But also remember that no leaves last for ever, and even a healthy plant will shed its oldest leaves.

Bloody Crotons, you may as well just yeet it in the bin
