Where do you all go to gwet your vegetable and fruit seeds? I have had a look at Sarah Raven but I am wondering if there are other places you would recommend. Thank you!

If we're at a garden show (Tatton, Chatsworth, etc) we make a beeline for Pennard Plants, who do lots of heritage varieties and are utterly lovely. They have a website too.

www.realseeds.co.uk/ They've become too popular for their small size (team of 7 people) and are now opening intermittently. They tried open on Sat morning and closing when they had all the orders they could cope with in the week (sometimes closing 2 hours after opening), but their system can't cope with the hordes of people signing on Sat am, so they've now gone to random opening.

Sutton's seeds, Dobies ( in Devon as opposed to Dobbies garden centres - never used them but they pop up when I mistype sometimes.)
I tried Lidls for veg seeds last year as I had heard great things. They were a mixed bag, the Marmande tomatoes were fabulous but beans a bit meh. They had some treated flower and veg seeds as well but I found germination erratic.
We have a good independent garden centre that has a varied selection of seeds nearby as well.
You didnt ask about flowers but I have picked up some non fancy seed varieties at the Range..

For cheap, Premier Seeds.
For small quantities, MoreVeg.
We order through Kings sometimes.

For lovely, Real Seeds, as mentioned above. Also Pennards and Thomas Etty for heritage veg.

I do quite like the lidl range however - dirt cheap. And wilko have some gems also.

TheSpottedZebra · 09/02/2021 22:09

And seaspringseeds for chillies.
