I did know but haven't written it down and can't flipping remember. Looks a bit like osmanthus but is pink.

Is it a winter flowering honeysuckle,

ShowOfHands · 06/02/2021 15:20

It isn't. I do have various lonicera and it isn't that.

I seem to remember it began with an a. It's a shrub, around 2ft high with a similar spread. Pretty fast grower. Really hardy.

Daphne!

Judashascomeintosomemoney · 06/02/2021 15:23

Abelia?

ShowOfHands · 06/02/2021 15:40

I think you're right. It's abelia so a sort of honeysuckle after all!

Except maybe it has too many petals.

Quite possibly a daphne x burkwoodii.

I'm going with that!

Thank you!

Abelia x grandiflora

ShowOfHands · 06/02/2021 15:55

@SpunBodgeSquarepants

Abelia x grandiflora
Not enough petals though? Abelia have 5, this has 4.
