Cheap/basic greenhouse advice wanted

Novice gardener here who grew a few veggies for the first time last spring in lockdown.
Loved the potatoes that were given to me by a neighbour.
She has just messaged me to ask if I would like some ‘earlies’ that will need planting by the end of February, but warned me that they will need protecting from frost . She puts hers in her greenhouse...I don’t have one ...

Would a cheap tent type one be any good ? I don’t want to waste my time , energy, money, her spuds etc if it wouldn’t be any use .

Any advice, recommendations etc gratefully received .

I just keep mine inside on a windowsill to chit and then plant after the last frosts.
You could try a cloche over them or a cold frame if you didn't want to buy a greenhouse?
