Where is best to buy these from ?
I want bulbs to line my fences and fairy lights for my seating area . Lanterns to put on my table then ground lights to go down the path . Been looking online so many sites claim to be the best . Any info would be greatly appreciated. X

In my experience it is a matter of luck rather than price. I have had really cheap lights from places like matalan that have lasted for a good few years, I have also bought really cheap lights that have only lasted a season. The same with middling priced lights. I was given some very expensive lantern lights last year as a birthday present, one of which lasted less than six months. Now I tend to buy cheap and replace as I need to with other cheapies. I also cut down on the areas I light, I have decided that subtle is preferable to the Heathrow Runway effect.

I would be interested to find out if anyone has found the holy grail of solar lighting, but I honestly think the only way to ensure long life lights is to bite the bullet and pay to have properly wired in lighting installed.

I got sick and tired of replacing solar lights so got some outside sockets installed, then bought some fairy lights from a company called lights4fun.

Never looked back!

Thanks for the help . Guess it's trial and error . Here's hoping to have a good summer x
