How do I keep lavender alive until it's time to plant out?

Just that really.

I bought those lavender plants in terracotta pots from Aldi and just want to make sure I don't kill them.

Any advice please?

You stand the pot outside in a sheltered spot.

Keep the soil moist but above all don't let them get waterlogged - make sure excess water can drain out of the pot. Rain will do the job of watering until probably April or May.

Thanks both of you.

We have lavender plants on some seating at the front - they’re out there all year round and seem to thrive on neglect over winter
