Have started to arrive, this morning my Campanula Pyramidalis plugs arrived.

Prepping and planning my garden this year is the little boost I needed - can't believe I didn't appreciate it for the last 5 years, it felt like a chore!

Ooo how exciting. I started my sweet peas off yesterday. They are in loo roll middles in the cold bedroom. Fingers crossed they germinate.

It’s great to get going, isn’t it! I hope next week’s warmer and I can get into the green house to tend to my Auricula seedlings.
I’m desperate for Spring to arrive.
Happy gardening.

I got a greenhouse for Christmas, it’s still in bits as I need to move the garden around a bit, but it’s the thought of this thats getting me through this shitshow

I've just placed a big order at Beth Chatto to fill my new beds. I'm terribly excited and also worried things aren't going to arrive or take ages to arrive like last year. I'm not quite sure if it's all going to fit in the greenhouse and conservatory until it's time to plant out but would rather manage it here than worry I won't be able to get it later. Come on Spring!

I started my sweet peas last week, planted ranunculus today (250 of them)

I have new window boxes on the way😍

I’ve placed an order with wilko for extra seed trays, plant labels, twine etc. I was surprised at how much was out of stock. It’s not a year for dawdling.

We had one lovely day this week, it was unbelievably good to be back outside. I love the anticipation of spring in the garden, it gets me through the winter. Even more so this year!

Hi, I've just had two plastic greenhouses and some seed trays arrive from Wilkos. I have a south facing wall for the greenhouses...when do you think it would be safe for me to plant my seeds and start off in the greenhouses?? I have a variety of flower seeds for this year but not a great deal of room inside the house for loads of seed trays (unless I can start them off in a cold, dark North facing room??)

Not for months yet, however you can do winter sewing in milk jugs. Then transplant when it warms up.
You will get stronger plants if you do winter sewing. Not good for 🍅 but great for flowers. What do you want to grow?
