My Xmas present to myself - so I've been doing something like meccano this afternoon. Im about to sow my first lot of sweet pea seeds indoors, they'll go into it when they're big enough and then I can start more I hope.

What else can/ should I put in it?Grin

Mine currently has my pelargonium overwintering in there, some elaeagnus cuttings, and some seedlings which I sowed in the autumn and have basically done no growing beyond tinyness at all but are happy seemingly to hang out in there being protected from the extremes of the weather.

Mine gets very busy in the springtime, when my veg sowing gets crazy.

I wonder if you could grow pea sprouts for winter salads in it? Or winter lettuces?

Oh I have a couple of cape gooseberries hanging out there as well.

Congrats on your building efforts! What a lovely gift to yourself Grin
