is it too late to plant spring bulbs?

I want to make up a pot of bulbs for my mum for xmas. Is it too late to do this for a spring display?

I did some last year for Christmas presents. Tulips and crocuses. They all came up fine.

Not at all, they might come up a bit later than those opened in September but you're not too late.

I still have quite a lot to plant...

I think November is the best time for planting tulips.

Yes, the kids planted them the day week before Christmas.
