Victoria plum tree - where to buy?

It's been a pretty crappy year for us. I've wanted a plum tree forever and have decided to buy one for myself as a present. I understand Victoria plums are self pollinating and really sweet. Can anyone recommend the best place to buy? And what condition is the best to buy in? Root or half grown?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Crocus have them. In my opinion they are the best on line nursery. Their stuff is well packed and everything has a no quibble two year guarantee.

Don’t do what I did and hack away at the box to open it. There is a release tag at the bottom. I found this out on the fifth and last box of my delivery.

Thank you I'll check them out.

Chris Bowers are good, as are Burncoose (don't know if they stock fruit trees - I've had other trees from them). Deacons are also a good fruit specialist.

Reads is a well established fruit nursery.
