Recommendations for a plant for a cold kitchen

Wanting to make my kitchen look more attractive and as poping a plant in place seems to work for every other room thought I'd try it in my kitchen too.

But the kitchen is usually chilly - there's heating but lots of glass and marble worksrfaces. Even when cooking it never gets hot in there.

What plant might survive?

I have spider plants, and some ivy. They seem quite happy in my cold kitchen Smile.

ThomasHardyPerennial Hadn't thought of those. Used to have both years ago in my office.

A lot of plants do better slightly cooler, especially some of the plants grown for flowers such as cyclamen.
