Can someone help me with a hose pipe problem please?

My hose pipe (one on a reel on the ground) leaks from the tap/connector, badly. Not a problem before as barely used it but I have now purchased a lay z spa so will need it often. What is the best thing to do, replace the whole thing? Just the connector?? The tap itself is fine, when you turn it on the water comes out as usual no spurting or anything?

If it's a hozelock style connector (push on) it sounds like the small rubber seal on the Male is worn flat. Just replace the Male connector on the tap (usually come as a pair so you could change hose end to be sure). You can get seals if you want to save a couple of pounds (toolstation or screwfix likley)

Yes it is a push on one, what is is called that I’m looking for? Just a hose pipe connector? It needs to be straightforward as I’m no good with this kind of stuff! So I don’t need a whole new pipe? Is it just the little bit of pipe that connects to the tap into the unit part of the hose pipe?

Sorry it also has a spray nozzle thing, I need to be able to just stick the hose into the spa without standing there holding the nozzle, can I just pull that off and it will come out as a continuous flow?

You need to go to a garden centre or hardware store and get some O-rings, as Eng123 said. I bought a load for a few quid once and they made a massive difference to my connections.

Ok so a gasket, and then what? A new connecting hose bit too?

If I bought the hose lock connector set (with the pipe) does that come with the bit that you screw on to the tap? As I think I definitely need one of those too. I have attached what I mean ..
