I saw this fabulous bright pink leafed shrub near to me and was wondering if anyone can help me work out what it might be.

The colour was really vibrant and the stems/branches had almost 'feathering' on them

The euonymus Alatus I pass on the way to school is proper bright burning red - not pink. But I know the red is more intense in a sunny position that in part shade.

It was the pink in the picture that made me immediately say "Euonymus".
