Hi,
I asked a local nursery for recommendations for a shrub that will survive a cold north corner in deep shade and heavy clay and was advised to try a Cornus Elegentissima. (See pic) It has started dropping leaves which is normal but I'm worried it won't survive as it has zero sun. I really want this to thrive as it has beautiful silver variegated leaves and red stems. Plus I need something to fill that pesky north corner!
Has anyone had any success with growing these in deep shade?
Thanks.
