Eucomis - what do you do over winter?

Hi there, I have two pots full of eucomis, only one plant spike each but they went well.

I live in the south east - am I supposed to leave them out in the pots, plant them out and give them some protection, or bring them into a cold frame or garden room?

They are border-line hardy, so probably best brought under cover. Cold frame might do, but make sure you protect from a hard frost. Or the garden room, if it isn’t too warm.

Thanks! The garden room is hot during the day (as I'm working) then cold at night so a significant temperature shift. Would they mind?

Maybe they will have to go in the cold greenhouse thing and take their chances.

Cold greenhouse should be fine, I reckon.
