Unusual tomato varieties - gift

Good morning.
I'm looking for some gift ideas. The recipient is an experienced grower and has a greenhouse. I'd like to get them some unusual tomato seeds. Also if I buy them now will they be keep until spring for planting?

If you want unusual, consider some of the different coloured varieites. Like Black Opal. There's some info on it here I found, also some other good ones.

Real seeds does seem excellent, I've also had good success with Victoriana Nursery Gardens for interesting varieties.

Green zebra are amazing - really delicious complex flavour. And also pretty!

Thing is seeds are so cheap you can afford to experiment with a few. Glad you like the look of the Opals, OP.

Just looked on "Real seeds"... What a lovely company! I will be buying from them at some point for sure, if just for the gorgeous packaging that is created by a vintage machine!

I also recognise one of the owners... Did anyone use the selfsufficientish site/forum years ago? Like 15 years ago?
