I drunkenly ordered 50 allium bulbs last year. This year I drunkenly ordered 100 tulip bulbsBlush
I had some tulips in last year and was so glad of the colour at the beginning of lockdown.
The allium was lovely too but flowered later. So this year I've a tonne of tulips to put in but I was wondering if anyone has any other ideas to put in there and mix it up a bit?

What about something with a different growing habit such as 'Snow in Summer' or lavender, maybe Lady's Mantle? They can flower when the bulbs have finished, thus giving you continuity.

I tried camassia last year which was a bit underwhelming but always looks good in professional gardeners' gardens. Anemones are early and so pretty and I have a few rununculus which definitely performed better in their second year and gave lovely lasting colour. Take a look at Swan Cottage Flowers - she does professional quality bulbs and has loads of info (particularly if you're on Instagram) but it can be a bit addictive!
