Really tough gardening gloves

Please can anyone recommend a really tough pair of gardening gloves which can deal with pyracantha thorns? I have quite big hands so can usually fit men’s sizes if necessary.

I find you need different gloves for various jobs. The really good ones for thorny jobs are usually padded rigger types ones. But they are too stiff to allow weeding / general gardening .
My hands are small so can't recommend particular ones.

I use the rigger style ones and find them good for thorns.

Fit is difficult. Tough gloves are usually made in man's sizes. My hands are small but broad (so lady's sizes fingers are too long). I usually deal with Pyracantha bare handed - accuracy of touch for me is a greater protection than gloves.

Although I often end gardening sessions looking as if I've been in a cat fight.

I'd recommend leather gauntlets. I use them for tackling brambles as they are elbow length and fit over the sleeves of the fleece & waterproof I wear to protect myself from the bastard brambles that I can't get to the roots of.

Thank you all. I'll investigate your suggestions. I have a telescopic hedge trimmer to cut it down to about 2m from nearly 3m so I need something really tough to gather up the cut branches.
