These caterpillars are living on some of the flowers in my garden. I've googled but can't make out what they are.

Can anyone tell me please?

Thank you!

Are they cabbage white butterflies?

BrettAndersonscheekbones · 14/09/2020 19:11

Yeah, if they are on nasturtiums they are cabbage whites.

Thank you BewareTheBeardedDragon and BrettAndersonscheekbones

Should I leave them to it or is there a kind way of dealing with them?

The only way to deal with them is to pick them off and either squash or drown SadEnvy

Depends on how much you value the nasturtiums for the next month until the frosts kill them (the nasturtiums) anyway. For next year you can use butterfly netting over plants they like which you don't want them to be able to get to (usually brassicas). I have used it this year and not had a problem, where last year my veg patch was overrun.
