Plant ID please

This was growing in a southern European location and we have a very southern UK walled garden so any ideas on a) what it is and b) if it could survive in our location ? Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

Could it be lantana ? From S America I believe, horribly invasive in Australia. Has rough stems which injure native Aus creatures. But it is pretty and tough.

Ahhh thanks all, that's great. There seemed to be two varieties. One low growing as in previous picture and one which is more shrub sized. The planting area was very well maintained so suspect they are kept in check. Here's the bigger one
