A plant ID one

Can anyone positively ID this little plant? So far I've wondered about mallow, honesty, hollyhock? I'm hoping it's not a weed, because there are many of them around. I feel like I may have scattered all of the above seeds at some point this year, but equally have any interlopers about the place...

Sorry - I should say it's the round bright green leaves with scalloped she's I'm wondering about. I know about the other leaves trying to photobomb the mystery plant.

I would guess at hollyhock but you can download free plant identifier apps which would confirm. Wish I had a load of free hollyhocks Smile

I would guess mallow. There's a good photo of mallow leaves on medium.com/@pullupyourplants/pull-up-your-plants-mallow-e1ef51ac8c13 you could use to compare a few!

I'd guess hollyhock too.

Hmm, seems like it could be either. As long as they're not weeds - I shall wait and see!

Malva moschata, musk mallow, would be my guess - the initial leaves are rounded even though the later leaves are dissected. But we're all agreed it's in the mallow family!

Hope that it is musk mallow - it's pretty, very floriferous, and a lot less rust-prone than hollyhock.

Hollyhocks are part of the mallow family so it's not easy to tell when the plant is so small.
