Can i use my old potato compost for other things ?

I have 3 huge bags of compost which we now have following our first ever go at growing spuds in bought potato bags.As we have now harvested our spuds i have tons of the compost left.
Can i grow stukk in the top or maybe chuck it in my borders ?
Wasnt sure iof i resd somewhere you shouldnt reuse soil thet pots have grown in .

use it as a mulch on your borders, or save it and dig some in when you are planting new plants, or use it to grow something undemanding like bulbs in pots or mediterranean herbs (thyme, rosemary) that like a nice thin nutrition-free soil (add in some grit for them too for drainage).
