Recommendations please! Indoor arrangement, low maintenance

Hi all!

I'd like to get a few houseplants to place in a fireplace hearth (not in use obvs) - the space is about 27inches X 27inches and gets dappled sunlight from the west. Was thinking of three plants that could be arranged nicely to give a bit of interest but can't figure this out. Was thinking maybe a snake plant / Boston fern then figured I'd come on here and ask the hive mind!!

A fireplace will be dark and draughty so look for tough plants that can cope with that.

Not ours! This is in the process of being painted - it is boarded up and planning to seat the pots on the stone bit in the front.

Isn’t your chimney vented ?
