Lobelia - what do I do?

I've grown Lobelia this year for the first time. Loved it for it's colour but now that it's finished flowering what do I do with it? Pull it up or leave it for next year?

It depends where it is.
It is an annual, so won't grow back next year, or is unlikely to, but it might self-seed.
If you are happy for it to self seed, leave it where it is until the seeds have gone.

Some lobelias are biennial. You could leave it and hope for the best.

It will probably die off when the frost arrives. I find it self seeds in other pots and crevices around the garden.

Righty ho, thanks for the advice. I'll leave it and hope it self seeds then as I really like it.

They are charming little flowers, aren't they?

I have done Lobelia in a pot in its second year

I was being lazy leaving it but glad I did
