Blueberry bush, no berries this year

We have a blueberry bush in a big pot on the patio. We've had it about 10 years at least, and every year we have a reasonable haul of berries from it.
This year however, we've had about 6 berries, and they weren't very nice.
Is it a bad year for blueberries? Why?
Other fruit seems to have done well: cherries, blackberries, plums, damsons etc.

Ours have been productive, but we have two different varieties so they cross pollinate and produce a better crop.

None of my fruit has done well. Early warm weather then a late cold snap and I've basically no raspberries, blueberries or a single plum.

I couldnt find any wild blaeberries this year, i think a late frost got the flowers.

Is your other fruit in pots or in the ground? It was so dry this year that it was hard to keep up with watering my blueberries in pots! They like it damp too.

Sorry - I posted this yesterday then completely forgot about it.

I've tried to water the plant regularly throughout, but maybe it wasn't enough. The whole bush looks a bit forlorn really, it's not as leafy as it should be.

Good to hear that others have had similar problems. Perhaps it's just been a bad year.

Why not get another one to cross pollinate. It will give you more fruit.

I may well do that. Good idea. Thank you.
