I’ve dug about 50 white quartz stones from the garden of our new house. Any ideas of anything nice I can do with them? We are remodelling the garden.

Mundane use is to outline a path or driveway to make it more visible in the dark. Apart from that, which is quite hard to accommodate in the garden, such a contrast to everything else. If you had an area suitable for very light coloured gravel or chippings your could scatter them in a random heap to add texture. Don't try to incorporate them into a water feature as they'll just go green with algae.

On the plus side, I used to have a couple of big lumps of pink quartz in a fish tank, but I threw them out because it was so tedious to keep clean of algae - but not they're just sitting randomly on a flower bed, they're staying pink and quite clear of algae.

Sorry, I'm not much inspiration - I'm mainly trying to give this a bump so someone else will answer.

Thank you. They are quite big and in your face. The size of 2 bricks and just don't blend in at all.

You could put them around plants in pots to help retain moisture. Also clematis like cool roots so you could put them around the base.

Or you could make a water feature, something like this. The quartz won’t go green if you put a capful off hydrogen Peroxide in the water.its safe at this dilute rate.

They are quite big rocks not pebbles. I'll have to take a photo and put it on.

What about a backlit rock tower and then sell the rest.
