Please help identify this plant

Hi

A friend was given this plant, but doesn't know what it is (and would like to look up splitting/ deadheading etc, but need to ID it, to do that)

I think it looks like a Dahlia Topmix Yellow, but I'm not sure?

When I saw the leaves I thought dahlia but couldn't tell which one. I only know pom poms because my late Grampa grew them and I remember the upside down plastic cups stuffed with straw to catch earwigs.

That was pretty much my thinking too! The Topmix Yellow, is the closest I can find, but they're all much more yellow than my friends more delicate lemon.

It's so pretty I'd like to get one for my Aunt too, but only if I can get one the same.

Dahlia. There's all sorts of different flower head shapes. We have a farm by us who grows them.

Try putting the photo through the plantnet app. It's even better than my mum!
