What are these white areas on my lemon tree saplings?

I’ve grown these from seed and they were doing really well. Now I’ve noticed two of the plants have these white areas on their leaves. Does anyone know what this is and what I should do?

On one of the plants the leaves are starting to curl also.

No idea really, but in the absence of other answers I'd be thinking some sort of insect damage. Have a really good look at the undersides of the affected leaves.

I've not seen anything like that on mine.
Mine get scale insect, I have to scrub them off periodically.

Mine get scale insect Yeah, I'm considering ditching mine, more trouble than it's worth. I put it outside in the hope that the garden wildlife would do something about the scale insect, but they haven't.

Could be a leaf miner of some sort. I would pick off affected leaves if it doesn’t defoliate the plant.

I did wonder if they were getting too much sun so I’ve moved them. Could it have been leaf scorch? 🤔
