What plant for screening (in a pot) ?

All of a sudden I find my patio very overlooked as next door have removed large tree and shrubs.

I don’t have ground to plant in so whatever I do I need it to grow in a pot and it needs to be about 6ft tall

Much rather find a plant than add more fencing or trellis

You could put bamboo in a pot if you choose your bamboo carefully.

Ah bamboo should be perfect!

Should I buy one already at 6ft or if I buy a 4ft would it grow quickly anyway?

I’d second bamboo and have 3 large pots of it for exactly that purpose.
I bought them as tall plants. They usually come in quite small pots, if you want them to grow thick and fast, I’d repot into 50 cm pots. It’s difficult to repot them if you wait till their pot bound . Voice of experience!
Pot grown, they do like to be looked after with lots of water and feed during the summer growing season.
Another plant that grows quickly, but is not evergreen is Leycesteria Formosa, Pheasant Berry.
