Plant Pots

We're looking for some nice plant pots for our garden. Went into the local garden centre and they're around £30-£50 for one pot. Is this the price everywhere or can anyone Recommend where they get pots? Thanks :)

pots vary massively in cost depending on what they are made of. terracotta & stone are much more than plastic.

I have lots of cheap black plastic pots and they look fine en masse. But if you want something like a big terracotta pot, you'll have to pay for it.

I found the opposite to be true at my local garden centre.

I was astounded at the cost of some of the plastic ones! Seventy pounds I saw one for!

They did a lovely one in grey, I think it was terracotta (definitely not plastic) for £32.99 which although steep, I thought was reasonable.

The Range has some nice pots which are reasonably priced too. It definitely pays to shop around.

I've found some nice ones in tkmaxx before, ceramic and quite large and about £10, much cheaper than the garden centre. It's the sort of thing I ask for as a present because I can't justify £25 on a tiny plant pot from my day to day spending!

Thanks for all the suggestions, looks like I'll have to have a look about to avoid too much expense!

Try other garden centres - the one I go to (or did before lockdown) has a corner where lovely pots are half price. Or try Ebay for used pots.
