Tomatoe mishap

Ok so I was given 6 tomatoe seedlings in April, I thought they were tumbling toms but they were infact upright tomatoes. Anyway I planted all 6 in a hanging basket (the one with 6 holes around the sides) they have actually started to produce tomatoes (ok maybe only 1 actual ball) but the roots can't possibly have any room left.

Loads of flowers on the plants

What would you do? Can I take them out split the roots and try and pot them or just leave them and see what happens haha

If you’ve got loads of flowers I’d just keep watering and feeding. As the fruit develops you can take off some of the leaves to reduce the strain on the plants.
I wouldn’t disturb the roots by trying to separate them. You could try to cut a hole in the bottom of the hanging baskets and set them into large pots.

You can grow tomatoes upside down, but 6 plants are to crowded. Better wash the basket and separate the roots and pot them up into individual pots .you can give them even smaller pots than the current one. Tomatoes get adjust quickly
