It looks like it might be a self-sown buddleia seedling.

What fors the actual plant look like?

My cool app for this kind of thing says it's a Jerusalem Artichoke.

Thanks for the replies. I’m attaching a picture of the whole plant. I don’t think it looks like a buddleia. Maybe a Jerusalem artichoke.

It's not a Jerusalem artichoke - stems are fatter, green and hairy, and the leaves are broader at the base. Don't think it's a buddleia either - leaves not grey enough.

Lesser willowherb, perhaps.

Might be perennial sunflower. These are mine for comparison.
