HOT TUB advice please

Hello lovely ladies (and gents)
I'm thinking of investing in a hot tub!

Probably a blow up one to start with. What do I need to consider? What extras/accessories do I need?

I have two choices for location, on the decking or on the artificial grass. Which is better? Do I need a 'base'? Will it ruin the 'grass', will the decking take the weight?

I need your genius!
Thanks in advance 😁🥂

Hi. I have one. If you are on FB there is numerous groups. I joined one, just type layzspa in to search and make sure you pick a UK one. I've had one for 6 years but only thought to look for a group this April. I've now learnt it's worth insulating it and it will save the electric bill.

Lota of threads about ndn complaints and noise - overnight humming - so make sure it's away from border to ndn..
Or your ndn will be on here before long!

They're noisy and expensive to run, pain in the arse to keep sanitary, and will become unused quickly.

Lots of threads about ndn complaints

This. There are so many of them on here which shows just how annoying hot tubs can be to other people.
Personally I think for the cost to buy and to run and the hassle of maintenance, they’re a waste of time for a short lived enjoyment.
But that’s just my opinion! Enjoy your warm bacteria soup!!!

We e had one for 12 years. It's a permanent one. It's on paving and has the electric on all the time and is wired into a spur in the garage. My advice is to keep on top of the chemicals

Our neighbours have one on a gravel base. Sounds like a bloody cement mixer when the pumps / jets are on. As for the stink of chlorine from the cleaner they insist on using....
