What's happening to my hydrangea?

I planted my hydrangea last Friday in my flower we, watered it in well and have been watering it every day since. South-facing garden and the spot gets sun for most of the day. Can anyone shed some light on why it looks like this? Is it wilting from the heat?

Ah it's the sun! Too much sun. Believe it or not, it will do better in a shady spot with some morning sun, but shady for most of the day. If it's getting direct sun for most of the day, it won't do so well.

Your soil looks a little dry and crumbly, I wanted to add. Make sure the soil is moist, well drain, and do a PH test on the soil where you want to plant it (I think you should move it to a shadier spot with some morning sun, as mentioned above).

Thank you both of you. Looks like I'll be moving it.
