Hi all,

I apologise if this isn't the correct place.

Please can anyone help me identify this insect and how to get rid of them please? They have killed one of my plants already and now I've seen they have infested ALL four of my indoor plants.

Also any tips on how to revive and take care of these please? I'm aware I need to re pot the aloe Vera very soon.

Thank you.

The first one looks like some sort of aphid - take it outside and give it a blast with a hose to wash them off. The middle pic is unclear, the third one just looks dead, either from overwatering or underwatering.

@yamadori Thanks, I've hosted them all down, the dead one was literally covered in them I think the bugs have killed it I've had it a year with no problems prior , Will I be able to save it or is it better off leaving it ?

You could try cutting off all the dead bits (remember though, that new leaves come up through the sheath of the old one), give it a spray and cross your fingers...

I think those little buggers are Thrips. Plenty of environmentally friendly ways (online)to get rid of them.

It's not very easy to see but they look like thrips to me too.
