Hello can anyone suggest a shrub/tree/plant that would survive in a large pot in a very sunny spot?

I need some greenery on my gravel drive to make it look less dire. However it get direct sun all day and anything I put out there dies. Any suggestions?

Lavender would be very happy or aeonium. Or any semperveriums.

Depends if you want all round or just some summer colour. If you put a shrub in like a castus you could put some bulbs in the pot too in the autumn to have flowers in spring.

A rose would be happy in a really big pot.
