Could I build a shed here?

Hi
I have a corner bit in my garden.
I was wondering if I could level the ground, then slab it and put a 5 x 3 she'd up.
The space is 6 x 6
The concrete block is part of a gabion wall that is for the neighbours garden
I was going to do it myself, was going to put concrete blocks around where I had levelled it, then when level put down sand/concrete and slabs
Any words of wisdom
Am I mad Confused

Sounds fine, and a straightforward diy job. Only issue is that you won’t be able to get to the back of the shed to repaint/repair. I’d give it an extra coat before putting it in place. Also screw it together rather than nailing, so you can undo it if you need to repair a bit one day.

Actually, looking at the size of the shed, do you mean 5’ deep or wide? A 3’ wide shed will be mostly corridor at the front so you would get almost the same amount of storage in a 3’x3’ (because you could reach the back wall without needing extra floor iyswim). A 5’ wide shed would be excellent if it fits.

Thanks for the advice
Im going to wait till I have put the slabs down before I decide on size
If a 5 x 3 will fit with room for maintenance around the sides, that would be good.

It’s going to be my she shed, so I want it as big as possible
Thanks again

A standard door is 2’ 6” and you would need to take into consideration the frame. So 3’ is really too narrow.
