Pic attached. What's going on with this tree? Is it sun-scorched or something else?

The branch those leaves are in is probably dead or diseased. Has it been damaged in the storms we had the other weekend?

It's several branches, and possibly a couple of saplings either side and the hawthorn hedge underneath. The tree is the easiest to see, though!

Wind burn? Or what sort of tree is it? Could be a die back or blight type disease depending on type of tree? Looks similar to how box blight appears but whilst I can’t see what type of tree it is it’s definitely not box 😂
