We got an allotment around a month ago and have noticed today small black bugs on our cherry trees (4 trees)

The trees are huge and they have also gone mom to our flowers.

What do we do??

I'm not sure you can spray them at that height.
If it's the same as the blackfly that gets on my broad beans I take the tops off with the blackfly on them and dispose of them but you can't do that with trees.
If you leave them hopefully something that eats them will arrive and flourish.

You could hang a bird feeder in the tree.
