Please recommend me a hose!!!

Every year my hose bursts and I buy a new one

I bought one in March and today it has burst so it’s not even made it through the summer

It needs to be 100ft long and I’ve been buying the expandable ones so far

I’ve gone through 4 in the last 3 years

I have a hose lock expandable. It's on its third year despite not being put away for the winter and being dragged up stone steps to be used - maybe I've been lucky but I love it and use it most days at the moment!

Ive just bought this Gardena one as I was fed up of my Hozelock leacking and kinking

Too soon to say how good it is but lack of kinking is already a bonus

I am afraid I can't help as I have only just bought an extendable one after my old reel one had so many leaks that I couldn't keep repairing it. I was also fed up of the constant kinking which got much worse as the hose material began to deteriorate.

I am so happy about the lack of kinking, how little space it takes up and how easy it is to use comparatively.

I did wonder however if it is robust enough and whether it would last as long (old one lasted about 5 years) and I am slightly sad to hear it probably won't but I am enjoying it for now anyway

I’ve just got back from screwfix with my new hozelock expanding hose!

Initial comparison on that compared with my cheap amazon expanding hoses is that it is worlds apart in quality

The hose feels so much thicker and robust.

Ive just ordered the gardena one as it has a 30 year warranty! Ive read recently that a lot of these expanding ones dont last long so i hope one with a long warranty will be worth while. Fingers crossed!
