Is this parasol too small?

Have a 6 seater garden table and ordered a 2.7 m parasol. Arrived today but now I’m wondering if it’s too small as not all chairs are shaded. What’s best for this size of table?

We have a three metre rectangle one and it is never the case that all chairs are shaded. The sun is always in ‘the wrong place’. Ours is the sort that goes through a hole in the centre of the table. I am thinking of getting one with the type of arm that bends so that you can position it.

Thanks, I did wonder if it wouldn’t be possible to have all chairs in shade no matter what size it was so think I’ll just keep it for now.

I think it’s fine is the Sunnis over the parasol, but when it’s lower like it is now (as we aren’t at the height of summer now) its more hot and miss. Better than nothing though! In laws had a massive plastic gazebo with legs that they replaced every year and that was great at giving shade as it was so big. Not attractive to look at but it was very effective.
