Planting runner beans and peas seeds

Have I left it too late? I have meant to do it for about six weeks and have been too lazy. I have deep rootrainers cells and compost. The bed tbh at I want them to grow in wk t be ready until next weekend (needs to be weeded and soil improved) so I can’t plant them direct.

Not too late for peas. Runner beans depend on where you live- too late for me here in Scotland.

They will take a week to even germinate so if you plant in small pots you won’t be able to plant out for a couple of weeks.

Mice are mine that were direct sowed so I’ve planted mine indoors yesterday. I hope it’s not too late!
