Anyone with a wide shallow garden?

Our garden is wide but not deep

I'm looking for inspiration on how to transform it.

Currently it has a boring square patio in front of the house and to the right, a boring patch of grass and an overgrown hedge to the left

How can I make it look better?

You could add some small trees, lots of pots, maybe a small wildlife pond?

I'd plant things like jasmine and virginia creeper in front of the fences as well, they will add green and the jasmine will smell lovely.

Some photos would help and some approximate overall dimensions and orientation e. g. South facing. Are there any existing plants / trees you wish to retain? Are there any features that you would like e.g. Patio, summerhouse, greenhouse, playhouse etc. Do you have a budget in mind?
