Can anyone tell me what plant this is please? It just popped up randomly. I'm pretty sure we've had dark purple ones before, this is light pink. Thank you!

It's toadflax (a type of linaria). The bees absolutely love it! I have loads in my garden, be warned that it loves to self-seed but it is such a useful plant.

That's very pretty! I've got the purple variety popping up in unexpected places.

Thank you very much Smile

Yes, it's purple toadflax, and it is a native plant. We have quite a lot in our garden, and occasionally we get random pink ones pop up. They tend to be smaller than the purple ones.

Yes, it's linaria. I managed to grow one from seed and you think they are dead and then they pop up again. Great little plant!

Vodkacranberryplease I'm going to try and collect some seeds from this one (somehow, will goggle it, I'm not particularly handy in the garden) it's really lovely
