Hi all, does anyone know what this plant is, and if it is a weed? It's quite prolific in my garden but don't want to pull it up if it is going to be something nice later in the year! TIA x

Hi OP looks identical to the greeny/white flowered hellebore that we have in our garden.
I'm jealous yours are growing like weeds as ours really struggles.

It doesn't look like any weed I can think of and does look like it could be hellebore - in which case you'll probably be waiting for the flowers until next year.

(The thing in the top left corner of the photo looks like a willowherb type weed though)

Yes, hellebore. Gorgeous things. It’s been a good here for them where I am. I’ve got one that hardly did anything last year that is still flowering now.

Ours is still flowering but not exactly a fine specimen!

It'll flower in early spring/late winter - it's a very valuable flower for the "winter" garden. It has tiny insignificant flowers surrounded by big showy white, pink, purple or mottled bracts - and because they're bracts and not petals, they carry on lasting even when the flowers are over and the seed pods are developing, which is what is showing in sorryiasked's picture.

Thanks all, looks like it is worth keeping then!
